What services do you currently offer & who is eligible for these services?

Goulburn Murray Hume AgCare offers a range of financial services to primary producers, fishers and small rural businesses who are experiencing severe financial hardship. These services are outlined in our brochure. While counsellors do not provide financial advice, they give you the tools to make informed financial and business decisions. They can also refer you to other professional people who can help with issues that your rural financial counsellor doesn't cover.

Who do I contact to see if I qualify for assistance or need immediate help?

Contact your nearest Rural Financial Counsellor or a Rural Financial Counsellor who specializes in your industry. The Rural Financial Counsellors are often on farm or with clients and you will be asked to leave a message. Please leave a message with your name and contact number and they will return your call within 1 working day. If you are still unsure who to talk to please contact the Executive Offer who will be able to assist.

How much does the service cost?

RFCS Victoria's Goulburn Murray Hume is supported by the Australian and Victorian Government. It is a free and independent service.

How can I contribute to Goulburn Murray Hume Agcare?

Over the coming years Goulburn Murray Hume AgCare Ltd hopes to expand existing and offer new services in accordance to our strategic plan. Goulburn Murray Hume Agcare Ltd is a non profit organisation which is supported by the Australian and Victorian Government. The company also relies on community donations of assist with new initiatives.

If you are in a position to assist financially or otherwise, please contact the Executive Officer. Please note, Goulburn Murray Hume Agcare Ltd is not a registered charity and as such no tax deductions apply for any financial contributions.
